Job summary

Recruitify HR is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to produce and manage detailed Revit models for interior fit-out projects in Sandton. You will translate design concepts into coordinated drawing packages and maintain templates and standards to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on Revit experience on live projects, strong detailing capabilities, and a proven ability to identify and resolve coordination issues early.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on Revit experience in a live project environment.
• Strong Revit documentation and technical detailing capability.
• Demonstrable experience producing complete construction drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections and schedules.
• Ability to identify technical and coordination issues before they become project problems.

• Proven ability to produce accurate, coordinated drawing packages within deadlines.
• Strong practical understanding of interior construction and detailing.
• Knowledge of joinery, shopfitting, ceilings, flooring, finishes and construction interfaces.
• Understanding of commercial interior fit-out documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work confidently from established design direction.
• Ability to identify technical and coordination issues before they become project problems.

Valuable but Not Essential

• Hospitality, gaming or retail interior experience.
• Experience coordinating outsourced or freelance drafting resources.
• BIM coordination software experience beyond Revit.
