Job summary

Recruitify HR is seeking an experienced BIM Technician to produce and manage detailed Revit models for interior fit-out projects in Sandton. You will translate design concepts into coordinated drawing packages and maintain templates and standards to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on Revit experience on live projects, strong detailing capabilities, and a proven ability to identify and resolve coordination issues early.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on Revit experience in a live project environment.
• Strong Revit documentation and technical detailing capability.
• Demonstrable experience producing complete construction drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections and schedules.
• Ability to identify technical and coordination issues before they become project problems.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain detailed, coordinated Revit models.
• Prepare complete construction drawing packages from developed design concepts.
• Develop and maintain Revit templates, families, drawing conventions and QA processes.
• Coordinate documentation with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other BIM disciplines.
• Identify technical, detailing, buildability and coordination issues promptly.
• Meet project documentation deadlines consistently and reliably.
• Review and quality-check drawings produced by additional Revit technicians.
