Job summary

Greys Recruitment is seeking a Store Supervisor for a new fashion and luxury apparel store in Cape Town CBD. You will lead a team, drive store sales, and ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience in a premium environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of supervisory fashion retail experience, strong leadership, and a passion for trends, service, and visual standards. Immediate availability is preferred as the role supports growth for a national brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years' supervisory experience in fashion, apparel or branded retail.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a retail sales team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numerical ability and administrative skills.
• Willing to work retail trading hours including weekends and holidays.
• Well-groomed, professional and fashion-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a premium shopping experience.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and customer engagement.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and development.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.
• Manage stock control, stock takes, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor store housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Open and close the store in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare daily sales reports and assist with administrative duties.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are adhered to at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 2–4 years' supervisory experience within a fashion, apparel, or branded retail environment.

• Good numerical ability and administrative skills.
• Experience with POS systems and retail reporting.
• Ability to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Reliable transport to and from the Garden Mall in Cape Town CBD.
• Must be available to start immediately.
