Job summary

Star Recruit is seeking a Sales Assistant for a Retail environment within a mall setting. You will support customers, maintain stock, and assist at the kiosk to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires matric and about 1 year of sales experience, with strong interpersonal and administrative skills. You’ll participate in cash handling, product knowledge, and meeting sales targets through effective customer service.

Qualifications

• Matric qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Stock management and admin skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Open kiosk 15 minutes before mall opening and ensure it is attended at all times.
• Complete daily cash-ups and deposit cash.
• Keep abreast with products to effectively market to customers.
• Apply LEAF sales techniques and understand customers for targeted sales.
• Assist customers in a courteous, professional manner and listen to requirements.
• Provide meaningful support and report customer complaints in writing timely and accurately.
• Develop skills by keeping abreast with retail trends.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals; communicate effectively.
• Show strong moral and ethical principles and stay true to company values.
• Treat all colleagues and external parties with respect and compassion.
