Job summary

Wheco is seeking a Retail Project Coordinator to manage multiple retail design and construction projects across various sites. You will collaborate with Retail Designers and Interior Designers to keep programmes and milestones on track, monitor progress, and ensure accurate cost and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong planning, attention to detail, and excellent communication with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of construction, retail fit-outs and site processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects across different locations.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple retail design and construction projects across different sites and regions
• Work closely with Retail Designers and Interior Designers to keep project programmes and key milestones on track
• Monitor schedules, deadlines, dependencies, risks and project progress across active projects
• Check quotations, orders, quantities and project information for accuracy
• Coordinate the timely placement of orders in line with project requirements
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, deliveries, site access, installations and site-specific requirements
• Monitor lead times and follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays
• Monitor site readiness and confirm that required materials, information and contractors are in place
• Identify and elevate risks, delays or missing information
• Maintain accurate project records, cost tracking, progress updates and closeout documentation
