Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Retail Platforms Tribe Lead to own the retail platforms roadmap, including POS and store operations systems, across the store network. The role leads cross-functional squads to source, configure, and maintain retail and POS solutions aligned to store processes and integration standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related fields (or 5 years in a similar role) and 7+ years in store systems/retail IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or related; or 5 years management experience in a similar role.
• 7+ years’ experience in store systems, retail IT, or POS platforms.
• Experience working with multi-site retail organisations and POS vendors.

Responsibilities

• Platform ownership and roadmap: Own the retail platforms roadmap covering POS, store operations systems, and related services.
• Delivery and operations: Lead squads implementing configuration, integrations, and small development changes for retail platforms.
• Governance and collaboration: Ensure platforms align with enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and security guidelines.
