Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks a Regional IT Operations Squad Lead (Retail) to ensure stability, availability and performance of IT systems across the regional stores. You will lead regional IT support teams and manage third-party partners to align technology with business goals.

The role focuses on uninterrupted store trading, rapid incident resolution and continuous improvement, with agile squad-based working and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Essential IT skills for regional operations leadership including retail IT systems.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams and vendors/service partners.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) and security best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional IT operations teams, including technicians, field engineers, and service partners.
• Oversee day-to-day IT service delivery across all sites within the region; manage Vendors/Service Partners.
• Ensure high availability and performance of critical store systems and networks.
• Act as regional escalation point for major incidents; ensure controlled change activities.
• Coordinate and monitor third-party field support; drive SLA compliance and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing regional IT team; assist with capacity planning.
