Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Merchandiser for its Musgrave store. You will restock merchandise, ensure correct stock placement, and maintain shelf presentation with clear pricing and labels. Excellent customer service and adherence to store standards are essential.

Responsibilities include stock rotation (FIFO), reporting low or damaged stock, assisting with stock counts, and keeping displays tidy. The role requires Grade 12, basic computer skills, and willingness to work retail hours.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric required.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.
• Computer literate – MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Ensure stock is stored and packed correctly and timely.
• Maintain sell-by dates and full range on shelves.
• Rotate stock on FIFO basis and report stock issues.
• Keep shelves neat with correct pricing and labels.
• Assist with stock counts and back shopping.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and training to new staff.
• Adhere to store policies, SOPs and health and safety rules.
