Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires a Merchandiser for their Walmer Park store in the Eastern Cape Region. You will ensure that basic Dis-Chem merchandising standards are properly executed and maintained. Your responsibilities will also lie in providing excellent customer service.

Restock merchandise, rotate stock, maintain displays, and uphold planograms while delivering friendly, helpful advice to customers and ensuring accurate labeling and pricing.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 / Matric and basic computer skills.
• Retail exposure of up to 6 months is preferred.
• Willing to work retail hours and adapt to shifts.
• Strong English communication and presentable appearance.

Responsibilities

• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Store and pack delivered stock in correct space promptly.
• Keep stock on shelves with correct labeling and pricing.
• Rotate stock FIFO and report low/outdated stock to management.
• Assist with stock counts and daily stocktaking.
• Follow Dis-Chem standards, planograms and store layout.
• Ensure shelves are neat, front displays are maintained.
• Assist with loading/unloading stock and back shopping.
