Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacist for our Secunda store to dispense medications and provide expert pharmaceutical guidance. You will ensure safe and effective use of prescriptions and support patients and healthcare professionals with accurate information.

The role requires SAPC registration and prior 2–3 years in retail pharmacy, with strong MS Office skills. Join a team focused on quality patient care and efficient dispensary operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric required; BPharm qualification and SAPC registration.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in pharmaceutical environment and 2–3 years retail pharmacy experience.
• Computer literate; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medication accurately under direct supervision of a Pharmacist and ensure correct labeling and instructions.
• Provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Manage patient profiles and assist with medical aid claims and reimbursements.
• Contribute to stock control and administrative tasks in the dispensary.
