Network Finance is seeking a Contract Financial Accountant to join its Group Finance team in Gauteng. The role covers financial accounting, reconciliations, and month-end reporting for a portfolio of retail stores in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

You will perform daily bank and cashbook reconciliations, supplier payments, VAT and statutory reporting, and assist with budgeting and management reporting. Strong Excel and ERP experience required; multi-site retail experience is a plus.

Formación

• Relevant accounting qualification (BCom Accounting, Diploma, or equivalent).
• 3+ years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Strong reconciliation and month-end accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working on an ERP or accounting system.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily bank and cashbook reconciliations.
• Reconcile store cash-ups against banking transactions and alternative payment platforms.
• Process and validate supplier payments and supporting documentation.
• Resolve store queries relating to customer accounts, refunds, receipts, and payments.
• Assist stores in maintaining strong financial controls and compliance procedures.
