Job summary

Adidas in Johannesburg is looking for a friendly retail assistant to deliver excellent service and maintain store standards.

You will handle customer enquiries, assist with sales transactions, help with product flow from stockroom to floor, and support display setup. Proactive shoppers' experience, flexibility to cover evenings and weekends, and a basic Matric are preferred. Training on Adidas policies will be provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Matric certificate is required.
• 0–1 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest level of Adidas service is given to each customer.
• Completes regular sales transactions (cash, credit, checks).
• Checks paperwork against items received and assists in ticketing.
• Assists product flow from stockroom to sales floor on a fill-in basis.
• Supports development of merchandise displays as directed by store management.
• Attains proficiency with POS system and adheres to policy.
• Uses selling techniques to reach sales goals and upsell.
• Greets customers and assists in finding products; may greet at store entrance during busy times.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safekeeping of assets.
• Performs loss prevention duties and reports suspicious activity.
• Participates in in-store or digital training for product knowledge.
• Familiarizes with Power BI for store performance insights.
