Job summary

Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa is seeking a Retail Admin Supervisor to oversee all administrative functions in a store and ensure accurate cash handling, stock control and reporting. The role requires a Matric certificate and at least 1 year of admin experience in a retail environment, with strong organisation and computer skills.

You will work closely with Store Management to maintain SOPs, manage banking processes, and support smooth store operations in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate required with retail exposure preferred.
• At least 1 year of admin experience in a retail setting.
• Solid numeracy and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily admin tasks, banking, price changes, staff scheduling and employment contracts.
• Handle stock counts, stationery and general administration in store.
• Balance cash, prepare deposits and reconcile cash-ups with sales slips.
• Report discrepancies to Store Manager and obtain authorisation.
• Coordinate receipt and dispatch of goods following SOPs.
• Maintain daily office housekeeping and stock take cycles.
