Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a flexible, motivated individual to join the Pulmonary Function and Sleep Team in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital on a fixed-term 12-month contract, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will perform routine lung function tests and support sleep apnea patients as part of the Respiratory Medicine team, with training provided and supervision from qualified respiratory physiologists.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills and an aptitude for working with people from a range of backgrounds.
• Interest in human physiology, accurate data collection and quality control.
• Experience in this exact role is not required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of routine lung function tests.
• Provide support to sleep apnoea patients.
• Work as part of the multidisciplinary Respiratory Medicine team with supervision.
