Job summary

RMB in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Transactor to originate and structure transactions, lead deal execution, and engage with clients across the sector. You will build and manage client plans to grow revenue, improve profitability, and strengthen the bank's market position.

The role requires a Commerce degree and 4–5 years in banking, with strong skills in sales, negotiation, financial modelling, and credit assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting required.
• 4–5 years' experience in a similar banking role.
• Experience in deal origination, structuring and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute transactions for new clients to the bank.
• Implement sales strategies to exceed financial targets and client experience.
• Manage client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and financing arrangements with clients.
• Coordinate and execute transactions with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain risk controls and monitor portfolio exposures.
