Job summary

FirstRand Bank is seeking an experienced Transactor to originate and lead deal structuring, implementation, and client engagement in the allocated sector. The role focuses on delivering profitability, growing market share, and enhancing client experience through strategic client plans and close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

You will manage relationships with clients, negotiate financing terms, and perform financial modelling to arrive at structured solutions while maintaining risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting is required.
• 4 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within Banking.
• Experience in Short-Term Lending is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead deal origination and structuring, implementation, and client engagement.
• Develop and articulate client plans to retain key clients, grow revenue, and enhance client experience.
• Negotiate pricing and financing arrangements with clients while balancing risk and reward.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders (Credit, Legal, Distribution, etc.).
• Conduct financial modelling and cash flow analysis to structure financing solutions.
• Monitor portfolio risk and ensure compliance with bank risk policies.
