Job summary

SURGO is seeking a House Manager in Cape Town to oversee rental collections, vacancies, tenant relations, and building maintenance. The role includes managing service providers, coordinating maintenance, and leading site teams to ensure high standards of upkeep and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12 and at least 2 years' experience in building or property management, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in building or property management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rental collections, vacancy management, tenant relations, and property upkeep.
• Manage service providers for cleaning, maintenance, security, and grounds.
• Lead HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff meetings.
• Monitor maintenance and security, address tenant requests, and manage work orders.
• Prepare weekly and monthly administration reports and maintain records.
• Foster a positive social climate and ensure tenant engagement.
