Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to oversee operations for community living facilities in Randburg. You will lead care staff, ensure high-quality services, and maintain safe, resident-centered programmes.

This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills and knowledge of relevant regulations. You will manage budgets, liaise with families and agencies, and drive continuous quality improvement across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care Management, Social Work, or related field.
• Significant experience in a management or supervisory role within a residential care setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in community living services.
• Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of care staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure provision of high-quality care and support services to all residents.
• Oversee daily operations of the residential facility, including maintenance and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement policies to enhance resident quality of life and safety.
• Manage budgets, resources, and procurement for the facility effectively.
• Liaise with families, external agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure resident support and compliance.
