The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong skills in reservoir simulation and economic evaluation, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while staying abreast of new technologies and methodologies in reservoir engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years in reservoir engineering with field development experience.
• Experience with Eclipse, CMG, and Petrel RE for simulations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize reservoirs using geological, geophysical, and engineering data.
• Build dynamic reservoir simulations to forecast performance.
• Optimize well performance and plan interventions.
• Develop field development plans and production forecasts.
• Assess and select EOR methods for mature fields.
• Perform economic evaluations and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with geologists, drilling, production engineers, and management.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to partners.
• Stay updated on new reservoir engineering technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers.
