Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Tour Operators.
• Design requests of exclusive experiences in Cape Town.
• Prepare tailor-made offers and travel documents, travel programs and administrative processes.
• Oversee and manage the guest’s itinerary and ensure successful execution.
• Assist guests from arrival to departure with all arrangements.
• Supervise current Tour Programs and services provided.
• Coordinate with service providers and source high-standard partners.
• Book and supervise tour guides and drivers for Samsara Africa Travel operations.
• Provide consultation on travel products and information for clients.
• Handle emails with third parties on behalf of the company.

Samsara Africa Travel is looking for a passionate, motivated, and resourceful individual to join the team. As a travel specialist you will be fulfilling leisure travel, including luxury journeys and the most unforgettable experience.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• To Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with Tour Operators
• Design requests of exclusive experiences in Cape Town
• Preparation of tailor‑made offers and travel documents, preparation of travel programs and administrative process
• Oversee and manage the guest’s itinerary and ensure that it is executed successfully
• To manage and assist guests from their time of arrival and until their time of departure
• To supervise current Tour Programs and services provided
• To supervise and interact with other providers as well as to assist in finding new potential service providers of high standards.
• To book and supervise all Tour Guides and drivers working for Samsara Africa Travel Operations Department
• Provide consultation regarding travel and tourism products and all other information pertaining to travelling to Clients.
• Send, receive, and process e-mails with third parties on behalf of the company

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Good judgement and adept use of travel research and technologies
• Passionate about South Africa & Cape Town & the Travel & Tourism industry
• Minimum two Years of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry
• The position requires above average level of knowledge about Tourism Products/Packages in South Africa
• Excellent communication skills in verbal & written English, be eloquent telephonically, be detail-oriented and be able to provide efficient customer service.
