Bushwise in Hluhluwe seeks a highly organized Reservations & Receptionist with luxury front-office experience for a live-in bushveld role. You will manage bookings, check-ins, spa bookings, and guest communications using the Apex system.

Requirements include 2–3 years in a luxury safari lodge front office, Apex mastery, strong data and cash handling skills, and flawless English. On-site living and meals are provided as part of the shift roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in front office / reservations at a 4- or 5-star safari lodge.
• Advanced working knowledge of the Apex booking system (non-negotiable).
• Expert data capturing, invoicing, cash handling and MS Office skills.
• Flawless written and verbal English; pristine grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer reservations, room allocations, and complex tour itineraries via Apex.
• Deliver premium front desk service, check-ins/outs, and spa bookings.
• Answer calls and emails promptly to maximise room occupancy.
• Issue invoices, process card transactions, and perform daily reconciliations.
• Coordinate with GM, spa staff, and teams to align guest itineraries.

Lodge in Hluhluwe is seeking a highly organized, professional, and guest-centric Reservationist / Receptionist. The ideal candidate must possess extensive luxury hospitality front-office experience and a mandatory, advanced working knowledge of the Apex booking system. This is a live-in bushveld role requiring dedication, flawless admin skills, and premium client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Reservations Management: Administer room allocations, direct individual check-ins, and complex tour operator itineraries via the Apex platform.
• Front Desk Excellence: Deliver premium guest reception, managing check-ins, orientation, spa bookings, and check-outs efficiently.
• Communication & Sales: Professionally answer inbound telephone lines and respond rapidly to email inquiries to maximize room occupancy.
• Financial Administration: Accurately issue invoices, process secure card transactions, and perform daily financial reconciliations.
• Team Liaison: Maintain open lines of communication with the General Manager, guiding teams, and spa staff to ensure synchronized guest itineraries.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in front office / reservations at a 4-star or 5-star safari lodge.
• Software: Proven, proficient operational mastery of the Apex booking system (non-negotiable).
• Skills: Expert data capturing, invoicing, cash handling, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Communication: Flawless written and verbal English communication; pristine personal grooming standards.
• Compliance: Valid South African ID, clean credit/ITC status, and completely clean criminal record history.
• Logistics: Comfortable living and working on-site in a remote bush environment on a flexible lodge shift roster.
