THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO:

THE TOP PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

• Comprehensive Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry sectors, companies, and market trends to support informed decision-making in the mergers and acquisitions process.
• Database Accuracy and Management: Maintain and update the company's database and client records with accurate and detailed information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Contribution to Team Success: Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to the overall success of the Transaction team and the company's objectives in the mergers and acquisitions market.
• Adaptability to Changing Needs: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing research needs and objectives, ensuring continued relevance and value in the role.
• Timely Delivery of Research Tasks: Provide accurate and timely research results to support the Transaction team's objectives and client needs.
• Identification of Potential Acquirers/Investors: Successfully identify and qualify a targeted list of potential acquirers or investors for our clients' businesses within agreed timeframes.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:

• A relevant Bachelor's degree OR Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent) with at least 2-3 years of experience in research, data analysis, or in a similar field.
• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, AND knowledge of data privacy and security protocols.
• Strong research skills and proficiency in various research platforms and systems, as well as the ability to adapt to constantly changing research needs and objectives.
• Ability to commute to work with no hassles.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Salesforce would be an advantage.
