Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Midrand, Gauteng is seeking a Representative: Technical Sales to deliver customised technical and sales solutions, driving profitable growth. You will regularly visit Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, own the value chain, and stay ahead of baking trends while understanding Premier's product basket.

The role requires 3 years in FMCG, Grade 12, and ideally a National Diploma in Baking; strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding BTU channels and categories.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers.

• Stay updated on market trends and product costing.
• Develop new customer needs based on baking trends.
• Acquire a deep understanding of Premier's product basket.
• Identify profitable baking trends and implement R&D.
• Manage costs and budgets efficiently.
• Expand the customer base while maintaining existing relationships.
• Execute strategies across all Premier categories.
• Control costs and extend product lines.
• Address market-specific demands.
• Minimize stock and product losses.
• Provide in-store bakery training and conduct market research.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and acts.
• Execute business unit strategies and maintain scorecards.
• Manage the monthly budget effectively.
• Contribute to CIP.
• Provide costings and technical solutions, overseeing the entire value chain.

• Business Regulations and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to various regulations and acts.

Targets Achievement

• Execute business unit strategies and maintain scorecards.
• Manage the monthly budget effectively.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).

Technical Solutions

• Provide costings and technical solutions, overseeing the entire value chain.

Experience And Qualifications

• Essential: 3 years in FMCG.
• Desirable: Bakery industry training.
• Understanding of BTU channels and categories.
• Essential: Grade 12.
• Desirable: National Diploma in Baking.

• Advanced knowledge of sales, trading environments, product costing, and macro/microenvironments.
