The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background, 4+ years of experience, and expertise in PV systems, energy modeling, and grid interconnection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design and engineering of renewable energy systems.
• Proven experience with solar PV systems; wind or battery storage experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD) and energy modeling tools.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, power systems, and grid integration.
• Knowledge of South African regulations and standards for renewable energy installations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
