Placements24 is seeking a Renewable Energy Electrical Engineer in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will design electrical systems for solar, wind, and other renewables, ensuring efficient grid integration and high reliability.

You will perform load calculations, develop diagrams, and oversee installation, commissioning, and testing while liaising with grid operators and stakeholders to drive sustainable energy projects forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical design for renewables.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV system design and grid interconnection standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for renewable energy installations (solar PV, wind).
• Perform load calculations, sizing, and equipment selection for inverters, transformers, and switchgear.

Key Responsibilities
