Placements24 seeks an Electrical Project Engineer for Mpumalanga to lead electrical design and execution of solar, wind, and hybrid projects from inception to commissioning.

You will manage procurement, installation, and testing of electrical systems, while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site in Nelspruit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with renewable energy projects (solar, wind).
• Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring electrical installations.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and standards (AutoCAD, NEC, IEC).
• Knowledge of grid connection requirements and power quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on site in Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design, specification, and procurement for renewable energy projects.
