Job summary
Set Consulting is seeking an ED/BEE Analyst to support delivery and monitoring of ED and B-BBEE obligations across renewable energy projects.
You will collect and analyse compliance data, engage with contractors, prepare governance packs, and help strengthen ED/BEE performance.
The role requires 1–3 years' experience, a relevant degree, and familiarity with B-BBEE legislation; travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Law or related field.
- 1–3 years’ relevant experience in B-BBEE consulting or similar.
- Renewable energy sector experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of B-BBEE legislation and Sector Charters.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Word/PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse and validate ED/BEE compliance data across ownership, management control, EE, skills development, ESD.
- Monitor project-specific ED obligations and report gaps.
- Engage with contractors to gather information for ED assessments.
- Prepare governance packs and reports for senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve ED/BEE scorecard performance.
- Maintain organised compliance records.
- Research relevant legislation and industry trends.
- Support ED/BEE strategy development.
