Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Registration ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) as Pr Eng.
• Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience delivering site audits and feasibility.
• Minimum of 5 years delivering technical assessments in Renewable Energy or other critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen to translate engineering edge into positive commercial outcomes.

Introduction

Our client is a dynamic investment fund within the infrastructure sector and are looking for a seasoned professional to join the advisory team. This position will be based in Johannesburg but involve some short-term travel from time to time and fills an integral role that involves working closely with the rest of the advisory team to execute a wide variety of challenging and exciting engagements related to the planning, development, delivery and operations of major economic and social infrastructure projects in the energy and infrastructure development sector.

Purpose

To ensure buildings and infrastructure projects are environmentally appropriate, energy efficient and cost effective from an electrical perspective and have security of energy supply. Propose project methodology & approach for a site audit & feasibility

Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Manager: Technical Operations will depend on you for the following outcomes:

Desired Experience & Qualification

This is a senior advisory role, so minimum requirements to secure this progressive opportunity include:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering


• Professional Registration ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) registration as Pr Eng


• A minimum of 5 years Project Management experience where you can demonstrate that you have delivered on a site audit & feasibility.


• A minimum of 5 years experience in delivering technical assessments in the Renewable Energy or other critical infrastructure sectors like Water, Waste Management, Telecommunications & ICT.


• Strong commercial acumen to translate engineering edge into positive commercial outcomes
