Job summary

People Dimension, based in Pretoria, is looking for a candidate for a BEE Consulting role. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in B Com or LLB, and possess 2 - 5 years’ experience in the BEE Consulting environment. Key responsibilities include managing client portfolios and supporting Principal consultants in service delivery.

The role also demands proficiency in the BEE Act and Codes and requires the individual to train others while achieving sales targets. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are necessary for this position.

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role within BEE Consulting environment.
• Knowledge of the BEE Act and Codes.
• Must have a valid Code B Driver’s Licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and support Principal consultants.
• Achieve add-on sales targets based on your client portfolio.
• Train analysts and colleagues regularly.

Formal Qualifications

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification (preference B Com or LLB)
• 2 - 5 Years’ experience in a similar role within BEE Consulting environment
• Any of the following qualifications would be advantageous:
  • B-BBEE MDP Project Management
  • SA Compliance Courses (such as Popia, Fica, etc.)

Specific Performance Targets

• Managing a portfolio of clients, as determined by management from time to time.
• Support Principal consultants in delivering services to clients
• Add-On Sales, and Solution Sales targets: Rand value of your client retainers and projects x 5 = annual add-on sales target (full year agreements and/or prorata agreements, excl. verification costs), within your own client portfolio
• Spend a minimum of 2 hours per week on training of analysts, and/or colleagues, duly recorded on timesheets

• The successful incumbent must have the following:

BEE

Advise, assist & train clients on the relevant sections of the:

• BEE Act: Has good working knowledge of the BEE Act
• BEE Codes: Has a good working knowledge of the BEE Codes (All Subsector Codes)
• BEE Verification Practices (R47): Good working knowledge of the audit methodology and interpretations of Renaissance and/or BDO
