Placements24 is seeking a Remote Wind Turbine Technician Supervisor to oversee operations from afar, supporting teams at wind farms near Mahikeng. This role emphasizes strong leadership, remote coordination of maintenance, and safety compliance.

You will monitor turbine performance via remote systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with logistics to deploy parts and personnel, ensuring safe, efficient operation. A GWO certification and 5+ years in a supervisory wind tech role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or lead Wind Turbine Technician role.
• In-depth knowledge of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote supervision and guidance to wind turbine technician teams.
• Plan and execute routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs remotely.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor turbine performance using remote systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with site managers and logistics for parts, equipment, and personnel.
