Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources Management to lead the planning, design, and implementation of sustainable water infrastructure projects. You will work with a global team to deliver water supply, wastewater, and stormwater solutions.

This role requires a PEng or international equivalent, a minimum of 7 years’ experience, and strong skills in hydraulic modeling and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or international equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering, including design and project management.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, InfoWorks WS Pro, HEC-RAS).
• Strong understanding of water quality, treatment processes, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution networks, sewer systems, and river basins.
• Perform feasibility studies, cost estimations, and environmental impact assessments for water resource projects.
• Prepare technical reports, design documents, and tender submissions for clients worldwide.
• Collaborate effectively with remote team members, clients, and regulatory bodies through virtual communication channels.
• Stay abreast of advancements in water resource management technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
