Key Responsibilities

Conduct remote analysis of warehouse operations, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Develop data-driven recommendations and strategic plans to optimize warehouse processes, including layout, workflow, inventory management, and labor utilization. Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to interpret operational data and generate actionable insights. Create process documentation, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for improved warehouse functions. Collaborate with on-site operational teams and management to implement proposed changes and monitor their effectiveness. Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management outlining findings and proposed solutions. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in warehouse optimization and logistics. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the client organizations by sharing best practices and insights.

Requirements

Extensive experience (5+ years) in warehouse operations, industrial engineering, or a similar role focused on process optimization within the Logistics & Warehousing sector. Proven ability to conduct detailed operational analysis and develop data-driven recommendations. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and process mapping software. Excellent understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and lean/six sigma principles. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field. Experience in developing and implementing warehouse optimization strategies.
