Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Computer Graphics, Game Design, or related field or equivalent extensive experience.
• 6+ years in virtual production, real-time rendering, or visual effects with supervisory/lead experience.
• Expertise in real-time engines including blueprinting/scripting and shader development.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the end-to-end virtual production pipeline, from pre-visualization to final output, entirely remotely.
• Lead and coordinate remote teams of virtual production specialists, including technical directors, artists, and cinematographers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to real-time engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), motion capture, LED walls, and camera tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to translate creative concepts into virtual production workflows.
• Develop and maintain efficient communication protocols and workflows for distributed teams.
• Oversee the implementation of virtual cinematography techniques and camera previs.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of digital assets and environments used in virtual production.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in virtual production technologies and best practices for remote collaboration.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet production milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and support to artists and technicians working from various locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Computer Graphics, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in virtual production, real-time rendering, or visual effects, with a strong emphasis on supervisory or lead roles.
• Expertise in real-time engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, including blueprinting/scripting and shader development.
• Proven experience with virtual cinematography, including camera previs, virtual cameras, and motion capture integration.
• Strong understanding of 3D asset pipelines, environment creation, and lighting for real-time applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex technical environments.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, especially in a remote setting.
• Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and remote team management is essential.
• Familiarity with LED volume technology and its integration into virtual production workflows.
• A passion for innovative filmmaking and storytelling techniques.
