Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a user-centric UI/UX Designer to join our fully remote team. Based near George, SA, you will craft interfaces that are visually appealing and highly usable, collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate needs into intuitive digital products.

You will build a design system and conduct user research to continuously improve user experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven UI/UX experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and IA.
• Experience in user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive web and mobile interfaces with wireframes, mocks, and prototypes.
• Plan and conduct user research and usability testing to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to define stories and requirements.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system for consistency.
• Advocate for users throughout the product lifecycle.
