Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide telehealth services to clients across South Africa. This fully remote role requires a doctoral-level clinician with HPCSA registration, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home while delivering evidence-based therapy via secure platforms.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of post-qualification experience, expertise in CBT/DBT, and a strong commitment to ethical practice and client

• Valid HPCSA registration/licensure to practice as Clinical Psychologist.
• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification clinical experience providing direct patient care.
• Proficiency in telehealth assessments and therapy via video conferencing.
• Experience with diverse disorders and across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual diagnostic assessments and psychological evaluations via secure telehealth platforms.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders.
• Provide individual, couples, and potentially group therapy sessions via secure video conferencing.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid registration and license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification clinical experience providing direct patient care.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of psychological disorders across different age groups.
• Proficiency in delivering various evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.
