Placements24 is seeking a sharp Transportation Analyst to join our operations team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing transportation data, identifying trends, and developing strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels.

You will build dashboards and reports to track KPIs, model costs and volumes, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement cost-saving initiatives and service improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience as Transportation Analyst or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience working in a remote, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify cost, transit time, and carrier performance improvements.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs for transportation operations.
• Research and evaluate new transportation technologies and providers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement cost-saving initiatives.
