Placements24 is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to join a fully remote team, driving optimization across global supply chains. You will design analytical models, leverage data to deliver strategic insights, reduce costs and improve service levels across distribution channels.

The role requires a master's degree or equivalent, 5+ years of logistics analytics experience, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and proven ability to communicate findings to senior leadership in a remote context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field such as Logistics, SCM or Data Science.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics analytics or a similar role focused on optimization.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, SQL or similar).
• Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting techniques and optimization algorithms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for remote leadership briefings.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data analysis projects to identify opportunities for improving logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and refine predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and network design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Design and monitor KPIs for logistics and provide actionable insights.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance visibility and performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytical best practices.
