The Legends Agency is seeking a Telemarketing Executive in Cape Town. The role focuses on building qualified sales opportunities by connecting prospective customers with freight and logistics solutions domestically and internationally.

This is currently remote, with a move to office-based work as the team grows. You will promote air, sea, and road freight, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution, and related logistics services, while scheduling appointments for the sales team.

Qualifications

• Must come from the logistics industry.
• Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, sales development, or customer-facing role.
• Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident speaking with business decision-makers.
• Ability to work towards and exceed targets.
• Competent in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting via outbound calls.
• Identify and qualify decision-makers for logistics procurement.
• Generate new business opportunities and arrange meetings for sales team.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
• Promote freight and logistics solutions to prospective customers.
• Record activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Follow up quotations, enquiries and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for handovers.
