Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or Child Development.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in early intervention services for children aged 0-3.
• Proven experience with telehealth and virtual service delivery.
• Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and disabilities.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills for remote interaction.
• Proficiency with teleconferencing software and electronic record-keeping systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Valid professional licensure or certification as required by the field of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for toddlers using virtual methods.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized family service plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique needs.
• Provide direct intervention services via secure video conferencing, including therapy and coaching.
• Educate and support families in implementing strategies to promote their child's development within their home environment.
• Collaborate with other remote professionals and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes in electronic health records.
• Stay current with best practices and research in early intervention and remote service delivery.
• Provide training and support to families on utilizing assistive technologies or intervention tools as needed.
• Advocate for the needs of the children and families served.
