Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist to support families with children aged 0–3 remotely in the Paarl region. You will conduct screenings, provide direct services (speech, OT, PT, development), and coach caregivers via telehealth from your home.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field, have 3+ years EI experience, and are proficient with telehealth platforms and family-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years in early intervention for 0–3.
• Strong knowledge of child development and family systems.
• Experience delivering services via telehealth/remote platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments for 0–3 using standardized tools.
• Develop IFSPs with families and professionals.
• Provide remote early intervention services (speech, occupational, physical, development).
• Coach parents on strategies for daily routines.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team via virtual platforms.
• Maintain confidential records per policy and regulations.
• Stay updated on best practices in early intervention.
