Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Early Intervention Specialist to join its virtual support team based out of Durban. You will conduct assessments, develop IFSPs, and provide ongoing therapy to families across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond via a secure online platform.

This role emphasizes delivering evidence-based early intervention services, coaching parents, and collaborating with remote professionals to ensure holistic care while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote arrangement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Early Childhood Special Education, Developmental Psychology, Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Relevant certifications and licensure in South Africa as required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in early intervention services for young children.
• Proficiency with telehealth delivery and digital communication tools.
• Strong empathetic communication and family-support capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for infants and toddlers virtually.
• Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

This role is critical in providing vital support and developmental services to young children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families, all delivered through a secure online platform. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and provide ongoing therapy and coaching to families, enabling them to support their child's progress from the comfort of their homes across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.
