Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Telecoms Network Specialist to join its expanding network operations center. This fully remote position enables you to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize a complex telecommunications network from anywhere, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

You will monitor daily operations, perform advanced troubleshooting, and implement secure configurations while collaborating with a remote team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
5-7 years hands-on experience in telecommunications network operations and support.
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
Experience with network monitoring tools, packet analysis, and diagnostic utilities.
Experience with wireless technologies and network security principles.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage daily operations of the telecommunications network, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents and outages.
Implement network configurations and changes according to established procedures and best practices.
Ensure the security of the network by managing firewalls, VPNs, and access controls remotely.
Collaborate with other technical teams to support network infrastructure projects and enhancements.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior network personnel as needed within a remote team structure.
