Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Telecoms Network Administrator to oversee and manage its extensive network infrastructure. This remote role involves day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunications systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

You will work with IT and engineering teams to implement network enhancements, resolve complex issues, and maintain system integrity from a remote location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or CS.
• Minimum 4 years of network administration in a telecom environment.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper or similar devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and security best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.

This role requires a proactive approach to network management, strong analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of network protocols and security. You will work closely with IT and engineering teams to implement network enhancements and resolve complex technical challenges, playing a vital role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our client's critical communication services from your remote location.
