Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and forward-thinking Remote Telecoms Network Planner to join its strategic planning division. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing network capacity, forecasting demand, and crafting detailed expansion and optimization plans to meet growing customer needs while maintaining service standards and cost-efficiency.

The candidate will analyze performance data, develop long-term plans, and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network planning or capacity management in telecoms.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools.
• Experience with network planning software and simulation tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current network performance, traffic patterns, and capacity utilization.
• Develop long-term network expansion and upgrade plans based on demand forecasts.
• Create detailed capacity planning reports and present findings to senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment between planning and execution.
• Identify opportunities for network optimization and cost reduction through strategic planning.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting network planning.
