Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years in public relations, with tech/startup focus.
• Proven success securing media coverage in reputable tech outlets.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of digital PR, social media and influencer marketing.
• Proficiency with PR software and media monitoring tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative public relations strategies to support company objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with tech journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry analysts.
• Craft press releases, case studies, blog posts, and other PR content.
• Manage media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and serve as a company spokesperson.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Organize virtual press events, webinars, and media briefings.
• Develop crisis communication plans and execute them effectively.
• Track and report on PR campaign effectiveness and ROI.
