You will develop strategic PR plans, nurture media relationships across South Africa, create press materials, and monitor campaign impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in public relations or media relations.
• Proven remote PR management experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Extensive media contacts network across South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic PR plans aligned with company objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets nationwide.
• Create press materials, including releases, pitches, and media kits.
• Manage media inquiries and interview opportunities for spokespeople.
• Monitor coverage, analyze trends, and report PR effectiveness.
• Develop and execute crisis communication strategies as needed.
• Organize virtual press conferences, webinars, and online events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Manage PR budgets and resources for remote operations.
