Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Supply Chain Coordinator to manage critical supply chain operations from home. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, overseeing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring smooth flow of goods across the network.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with supply chain software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain activities, including order processing, inventory management, and shipping.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels across various locations and implement strategies to maintain optimal stock.
• Prepare and process necessary documentation for shipments and receipts.
• Track shipments and proactively address potential delays or issues to minimize disruption.
• Assist in the analysis of supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
