Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Supply Chain Specialist to manage and optimize supply chain operations. The role focuses on procurement, logistics, and inventory management, coordinating virtually with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely material availability.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a related field, hands-on experience in supply chain management, and strong analytical and negotiation skills for cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics, preferably within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, and inventory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
• Collaborate virtually with production, sales, and finance teams to forecast demand and ensure timely material availability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain.
