Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join a fully remote operations team. You will analyze complex supply chain data, build dashboards, forecast demand, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize inventory and performance.

You will collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams, model various scenarios, and stay abreast of industry trends to drive strategic improvements in a global logistics network from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Supply Chain/OR/Statistics/Economics).
• Minimum of 4 years in supply chain analysis or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large supply chain datasets (inventory, demand, costs).
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Forecast demand and optimize inventory to minimize holding costs.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales on strategy alignment.
• Model scenarios and assess impact of supply chain strategies.
• Support implementation of new supply chain technologies and processes.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.
