Placements24 is seeking a strategic and analytical Remote Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to join the operations team. This fully remote role focuses on analyzing and improving a global supply chain using advanced analytics and modeling to cut costs, improve service, and mitigate risk.

You will forecast demand, optimize inventory and transportation, and collaborate across logistics, procurement, and sales while presenting findings to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in a relevant field with data analytics emphasis.
• Proven experience in supply chain analysis, network optimization, or logistics planning.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python or R and modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain models to simulate scenarios and evaluate changes.
• Forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize transportation routes.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, procurement and sales to gather data.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
• Research new technologies to enhance supply chain performance.
